I’m a haunted soul
Not even youth can set me free
Or the constantly anxious world;
Not even the charm of bliss
Or the conception of peace
Can break my chains
That are ever with me
And are the true companions
Of my bitter-sweet existence.
They are all I have and ever will
They are all I am and can ever give
To a world that wants to be free;
Thus I’m a pariah, an outcasts,
In an otherwise happy world.
I plea for no forgiveness
Only for space to writhe in my pain
Until death favours me.
Author’s Note: Sometimes love can be scarier than warfare, so brace yourself for it, and if you fall short, don’t kill yourself, you are dead already.
Some say forgive your enemies. I say don’t. Never forgive and do not forget; for the sake of your enemy, keep him in remembrance.
Rebel, even against your own philosophy; suit yourself.
Until next time,
I will be here.
