The Post-modern Explanation of the Double-Slit Experiment

– Quantum mechanics and How God throws His Dice.

In this memorable scientific article, I want to expose to you the central mystery of quantum mechanics which has been hidden for more than 100 years by giving you the only remarkable grasp on the planet of the double-slit experiment.

The double-slit experiment according to Feynman, “is impossible, absolutely impossible, to explain in any classical way and which has in it the heart of quantum mechanics.” and is “the only mystery” of quantum mechanics.

Also, this experiment cannot be explained in any modern way. However, post-modern physics shows us how this experiment can be explained in a classical way. The only thing that is needed, as post-modern physics shows us, is to introduce the true principle of accelerated motion which was missing in classical physics and which I will show you shortly.

The absence of this principle of accelerated motion was what made it seem impossible to explain the double-slit experiment “in any classical way” as Feynman had thought.

So, in this article, I will be explaining the double-slit experiment from a perspective no one has thought of in scientific history but which is however a classical way of understanding physics. Are you ready? Let’s begin!

Firstly, let’s identify the classical idea or way of thinking that is really hindering us from understanding this simple experiment? Why can’t we really just imagine atomic particles as tiny steel balls? What’s really happening inside the atom?!

Addressing this classical idea that is hindering us from understanding the double-slit experiment is what will lead us in this article to the newly discovered principle that governs accelerated motion. 

Now, listen, this famous experiment can be explained and clearly understood by the realization of the limited applicability of THE RESOLUTION OF FORCES according to classical physics in the atomic world.

This classical idea is what makes you wrongly think that in the atomic world a particle is moved by a single resultant force. No, an atomic particle is not moved by a single resultant force. Get this classical idea away from your mind if you must understand quantum mechanics.

The figure below depicts what we think is happening to an electron during the double-slit experiment. We think or presume that a single electron is moved towards the two slits by a single resultant force, and should, therefore, pass through either slit but not both. Yet the electron manages to go through the two slits.

How? I will let you know in this article. The results of the double-slit experiment challenge our deep-rooted notion of the laws of physics. Relative science or classical and modern physics inform us that every charged body is moved by a single resultant force. This, my friend, is a premise that has limited application in the atomic world.

The atomic world, and in fact, the double slit experiment cannot be explained by both classical and modern physics, but they can be explained by post-modern physics. This is because in post-modern physics we have the new and profound principle of non-inertia and it is this principle that shows us the limited applicability of the resolution of forces.

It is from the understanding of this principle, which is the principle that governs accelerated motion and which I informed you was missing in classical physics, that I was able to explain the double-slit experiment in a classical way nonetheless and that you can attest to after reading this great scientific article.

So, what does the principle of non-inertia state?

The principle of non-inertia states that accelerated rest and accelerated motion are indistinguishable.

The above principle informs us that in the atomic world, charged bodies do not in any way sense inertia when they accelerate. Let me tell you this, Just as you cannot distinguish between uniform motion and uniform rest outside the atomic world, so also atomic bodies cannot distinguish between accelerated motion and accelerated rest in the atomic world.

Though the atomic bodies are in accelerated motion, they feel as though they are at accelerated rest. This, I think, should be your first intuitive grasp of the atomic world.

Now, when you move in uniform motion, there is no external force acting on you and you don’t sense inertia, so also in the atomic world, for when you impress force on atomic bodies, they move as though no external force is been impressed on them, even though the accelerator is really impacting force.

This is a direct consequence of the fact that atomic bodies in accelerated motion do not sense inertia.

This results in a remarkable implication which is that EVERY ATOMIC BODY IS MOVED BY TWO IDENTICAL AND ISOLATED FORCES AND NOT A SINGLE RESULTANT FORCE. Please understand this, as it will unlock every mystery of the atomic world.

The first force, which is external, comes from the Accelerator, while the second force, which is internal, comes from the atomic body itself, since it moves as though no force is been impressed on it. This insight about the atomic world cannot emerge from classical and modern physics.

It is a step towards the laws behind the laws and the principles behind the principles. Let’s outline these two identical and isolated forces or frames:

  1. The external force from the accelerator F1.
  2. The internal force from the atomic body F2.

To further comprehend the result of this realization in relation to the central mystery of quantum mechanics, let’s first look at the experiment below, in which two identical and isolated small balls, ball 1 and ball 2 (forget their necessary different designations) are thrown at the same instant towards two slits by a single resultant force origin F1, which is probably the hand of a man.

A possible result, as the diagram shows, and which is intuitive, is that ball 1 goes through the upper slit and ball 2 goes through the lower slit, and importantly, it can be vice versa.

Two Balls and Quantum Mechanics

I want you to look carefully at the above experiment because something remarkable has occurred in the above experiment, which is that a single force F has been able to move through the two slits because it is carried by two identical and isolated small balls. It moves through the upper slit by ball 1 and through the lower slit by ball 2.

And importantly, it can be the reverse, as the diagram below shows, because both balls are identical (forget their designations which are however necessary).

In the possible reverse outcome, the force F has been carried by ball 2 through the upper slit, while ball 1 carries it through the lower slit. This is a very important result when we proceed to the real double-slit experiment of quantum mechanics.

Now, having understood this first experiment, the mystery of quantum mechanics is simply the real reverse of this experiment exemplified by double-slit experiment in which a single electron goes through two slits. The reverse of the first experiment is shown next:

In the second experiment, which is the true depiction of the double-slit experiment, a single electron e1 is thrown towards the two slits by two identical and isolated forces F1 and F2 (forget their necessary different designations) represented by the two purple dash lines.

The force F1 which is the external force comes from the accelerator and the force F2 which is the internal force comes from the electron. Understand this.

Now, one finds remarkably from the above experiment or diagram that a single electron e1 has been able to move through the two slits because it is carried by two identical and isolated forces F1 and F2.

As shown above, the electron moved through the upper slit by force F1 and through the lower slit by force F2. And importantly, it can be the reverse, because both forces are identical (forget their necessary different designations).

The result of this second experiment which is the double-slit experiment is the same as that of the first experiment for two isolated balls. The double-slit experiment reveals to us that if by one force origin you can throw two identical and isolated balls to pass through two suits, then by two identical and isolated force origins you can throw one ball (charged body) to pass through two slits.

This second possibility is how God throws His dice. Be enlightened. Therefore, it is evident that the existence of two identical and isolated forces is what obliges us not to apply the classical idea of the resolution of forces within the atom.

So, this is the mystery of quantum mechanics: every charged body is moved not by a single resultant force, but by two identical and isolated forces. The wave nature of atomic particles arises because of this, and this, dear friend, is quantum mechanics demystified.

The Central Mystery of Quantum Mechanics

Now, a single electron passes through two slits because it is moved by two isolated forces, and the probability of quantum mechanics arises because both isolated forces are identical.

Therefore, there is no experiment that can tell you by which force the electron passes through the lower slit and the upper slit, whether it is by the external force of the accelerator F1 or its internal force F2.

No matter how you arrange the outcome, like I did above, in which the electron moves through the upper slit by force F1 and through the lower slit by force F2, the reverse is also possible as shown below.

In the possible reverse outcome, the electron e1 has been carried by force F2 through the upper slit, while force F1 carries it through the lower slit. These two equally possible outcomes reveal to us the origin of the probability of quantum mechanics.

There is no experiment that can tell us by what force, whether F1 or F2, did the electron e1 pass through the upper and lower slits. The exact arrangement of the outcome of the experiment cannot be known because both forces are identical in every way though they have different origins. 

In the atomic world, the external forceF1 comes from the gravi-electromagnetic wave while the internal force F2 still comes from the frame of the atomic particle itself. This is why the principle of non-inertia and the two identical and isolated forces still apply in the atom.

Outside the atom, this profound description of the principle of non-inertia does not apply. This is because we cannot impress two identical and isolated forces on ponderable (non-charged) bodies. This beautiful possibility can only occur for charged bodies or inside the atom. Understand this.

So, you can still go ahead and imagine atomic particles as tiny steel balls, but as tiny steel balls moved by two identical and isolated forces, and not a single resultant force. Rid your mind of the resolution of forces when you investigate the atom. It’s really as simple as this, my dear scientist.

As have been stated, these two identical and isolated forces arise because of the core pervasive metaphysical principle of non-inertia which only applies to accelerating bodies. 

The remarkable consequence of the principle of non-inertia is that it brings about a causal and realistic interpretation of the atomic world, and absolves quantum mechanics of its many weird interpretations, especially the many-worlds interpretation of the universe

The multiverse theory is a wrong premise that emerges from our lack of understanding of the atomic world.

In order to understand the atomic world, we should do away with the multiverse and some other wrong premises of quantum mechanics, and embrace the principle of non-inertia. This principle is the governing principle in the atomic world, and it cannot be merged or incorporated into our current quantum theory. 

Quantum theory is not a fundamental theory of the universe, absolute relativity is.

Also, absolute relativity covers how the principle of non-inertia applies to the single, triple and etc. suits, and how this principle underpins and justifies as emergent the probabilistic nature of quantum mechanics.

We cannot have an intuitive understanding of the atomic world with the provisions and mathematical formalism of quantum mechanics, but absolute relativity provides the way to replace quantum mechanics and restore progress to fundamental science.
