This article is about the new official science which is now established as a result of the second scientific revolution which is qualitatively different from the first scientific revolution that visited physics 400 years ago.
Official science describes the formal and organizational means and methods by which scientists investigate, collate and disseminate scientific knowledge for the general benefits of mankind.
Now, it is evident that official science as it stands today traces its origin to the first scientific revolution which overturned the Aristotelian philosophical description of the universe.
The scientific revolution pioneered by Copernicus, Galileo and culminated by Newton all took a new path of enquiry that produced what would later be referred to as the scientific description of the universe.
This scientific description of the universe is not mainly philosophical, but mainly mathematical, rigorous and within the confines of what man can physically observe about the universe.
Nothing competes as the most impressing imprint on official science produced by the first scientific revolution like its current adherence to what we can physically observe about the cosmos.
What can be physically observed about the cosmos set the necessary boundary needed to define official science and also the sort of scientific investigation that should be of concern to official science. This has remained so ever since the first scientific revolution.
Any other means or proposed method of investigating or attaining scientific knowledge has either been overtly and unpretentiously castigated or covertly and pretentiously scorned. This is the imbibed tradition from the first scientific revolution.
Official science has its justification for doing so. One of its primary justification is that no other means beyond the supposedly simple, physical observation of the cosmos could pull us out from the crisis that hampered the advancement of knowledge prior to the scientific revolution.
They were arising mysteries of cosmology that were unexplainable by the Aristotelian philosophical descriptions of the universe, and so the new method scientific method of describing the universe which explained these cosmological mysteries then appeared to be a better option than Aristotle’s philosophical method.
The scientific description of the universe not only discredited Aristotle’s philosophical theories, it also gave a lasting blow on Aristotle’s philosophical approach of investigating the universe which had little or no care for physical observation.
Now, scientific history is repeating itself, even as some scientists have attested. We are now being confronted by persistent cosmological mysteries which are further compounded by atomic mysteries that the physical theories that have emerged from the first scientific revolution cannot resolve or explain.
The first scientific revolution was not a continuation of the Aristotelian philosophical descriptions of the universe. It did not build on Aristotle’s philosophy, rather the first scientific revolution forced us to develop new interpretations or description of the universe which was entirely different from what Aristotle could have conceived.
It is very important to note the discontinuity the first scientific revolution created between the philosophical description of the universe and the scientific description of the universe because it somewhat contradicts our expectation of an eternal progression of physical science.
For just as the first scientific revolution did not build on the philosophical revolution (of Aristotle et al), so also does the second scientific revolution which has come does not build on the first scientific revolution (of Newton et al).
We are now experiencing the second scientific revolution and it overturns almost completely every Newtonian scientific description of the universe. This second scientific revolution is what I interchangeably refer to as the great scientific revolution.
Now, while I call the last two revolutions after the philosophical revolution scientific revolutions, they are however different kinds of revolutions. The first scientific revolution gave birth to what we now call physical science, while the second scientific revolution has given birth to metaphysical science.
I am aware of your bias towards the metaphysical, but I don’t want you to understand it beyond the progression of scientific history which I have maintained so far in this article. The metaphysical science I speak of is as it has emerged naturally from scientific history and not any other prior propositions of it.
In other words, when I refer to metaphysical science, I am referring to post-modern metaphysical science which I teach on this blog and not any other. Since I think I have made myself clear, let’s proceed.
Now, the stark or revolutionary difference that emerged in our understanding of the universe when we moved from the philosophical revolution to the first scientific revolution has also reappeared, however differently, now that we are moving from the first scientific revolution to the second scientific revolution.
In other words, the second scientific revolution is not any less than the first scientific revolution. Just as the first scientific revolution launched the birth of physical science, so has the second scientific revolution launched the birth of metaphysical science.
So, you must now see the emerging metaphysical science as a natural progression of scientific history and not as a kind of pseudo-science forcing its way into official science which is concerned only with physical science, and thus denies anything metaphysical.
The confronting mysteries that have now precipitated the second scientific revolution have all been indicating a beyond the physical explanation of the cosmos. Only the prior mystery of dark energy was enough to induce this thought.
The second scientific revolution is birthing the new official science which unlike the old official science is concerned about metaphysical science and the metaphysical nature of the universe.
While the new official science may or may not maintain the organizational structure of the old official science, I am however convinced of some qualitatively revolutionary changes that will follow the new official science of which I will discuss some in this article.
As time passed from the renaissance that saw the rise of physical science, physical science became increasingly the scope and concern of the old official science. This would also be applicable to the evolution of the new official science with regards to metaphysical science.
As time passes also from 2017 which has produced the rise of metaphysical science, metaphysical science would increasingly become the scope and concern of the new official science. This would describe the evolution of the new official science.
Our adherence to physical science is born from the historical experience of science. Also, the old official science was one that shies away or refrained from the bold assertion that it must search and prove scientific truths. Rather it was mainly concerned about what is provable (or falsifiable) and what is not.
This disposition is not maintained in the new official science. In the new official science, we are concerned about scientific truths. The new official science undenyingly seeks and investigates the true eternal laws of the universe. This is the scientific spirit that permeates Echa & Science.
The whole notion of science as an ever-changing enterprise with regards to its explanations of natural phenomena do not find their way into the new official science. In the new official science, we come to attain the true and never changing explanation of natural phenomena.
For instance, in the old official science based on physical science, we find two different and somewhat opposing descriptions of gravity, one describing gravity as a force and another describing gravity as the curvature of spacetime by matter.
This conceptual confusion does not align with the ever constant behaviour of gravity. So, we need the true description of gravity, we need the true definition of what gravity really is! The new official science gives us a theory that truly informs us of what gravity really is.
This is because the new description of gravity is emerging from metaphysical science which is a kind of science that is different from physical science that produced the other first two descriptions of gravity mentioned above.
The new official science is based on metaphysical science and this sets it as the true organizational platform for seeking scientific truths. Scientific truths are the main concern of the new official science.
The old official science was a case of ever learning but never being able to come to the knowledge of the truth, and I must point out that this was a result of the fact that the old official science was based on physical science.
The new official science which upholds metaphysical science is the only hope for us if we must wrest ourselves from the cyclic, non-progressive path the old official science based on physical science had bound us.
For 400 years of physical science, we never came to the truth about light and gravity. This in hindsight reveals the oversight inherent in physical science. We all yearn for the truth no matter how sceptical we may be about its actualization. This yearning is what drives the scientific mind to research the cosmos.
But the history so far of physical science has shown that when we arrive at a description of natural phenomena, in no time another different and supposedly even better discovery is made. This recurrent event has even made us question the existence of scientific truth.
But a little thinking makes you realize that if we cannot find any truth in science, then how can we possibly profess to understand the universe. Won’t it be cosmic injustice for man to be in a universe he cannot understand?
The new official science is assuring us that we can arrive at scientific truths and that we can really understand the universe. All that is required is a change in the way we do science by embracing metaphysical science. The very wisdom upon which the universe was founded cannot be accessed by physical science.
Today we have to change the lens with which we view the cosmos, and then we would see the things that were always there before us but were hidden because we held on to physical science.
The subtleties of the universe are not hidden in complex mathematical and follow-up interpretations, rather they are hidden in the metaphysical nature of the universe. The new official science is one that adheres to the metaphysical nature of the universe and on this nature bases all scientific truths.
The new official science now understands that the true nature of the universe is beyond appearances and physical observations, so it seeks to know all the methods needed to discover the metaphysical operations of the universe.
No matter how useful or apparently valid and satisfying physical science has been, it is now being brought to its knees by the unification problem and the current unprecedented heap of mysteries confronting it.
These pressing times for science calls for a new kind of science to assist us to rise to the occasion. This new kind of science is metaphysical science, and with it also comes a new official science which unlike the old official science does not eschew the metaphysical, rather it embraces it as the true way to the adytum of scientific knowledge.
Moreso, besides this new embrace of metaphysical science that has emerged naturally from scientific history, the new official science has an inner, organic and universal unity which has emerged from the revealed unity of the universe.
While even the old official science was unified, its unity was not based or did not emerge from the discovered unity of the universe. But this is not the case for the new official science which its unity is based on the discovered unity of the universe.
The new official science is concerned about scientific truths as opposed to the old official science which was concerned about scientific theories that change and are what they are because they have been empirically verified.
The new official science takes us deeper and forces us to seek the unchanging nature of reality upon which we can base scientific truths. The new official science birthed by the great scientific revolution is bolder and less sceptical than the old official science birthed by the scientific revolution.
That we can understand the unchanging nature of reality is a central doctrine or belief of the new official science. We will no longer hide our scepticism or unbelief in ourselves behind the supposedly rational acceptance of our changing theories despite the inner intuition that the truth exists.
We are stepping out, and we will no longer cower behind physical science. The new official science now rides us on the back of metaphysical science to the formerly thought impossible level of understanding of the universe.
The new official science seeks to harmonize with the very wisdom upon which the universe was created. This very cosmic wisdom now guides us to scientific truths. No more blind suppositions and conjectures which do not conform to the truth. Science is now based on truths and not on ever changing theories.
There is immense light in the new official science and we can now see the big picture! It is by seeing the big picture that we are empowered or furnished to know scientific truths when we see one.
The new official science is revolutionary and all-embracing. Its evolving structure is as simple as the universe it describes, and it reflects the metaphysical oneness of all things. The new official science, while obviously being an unexplored terrain, is, however, the next step in man’s evolution!
Our mind and mental capacity are now being pushed into full and complete use. All the possible facets of understanding neglected in the old official science are now being explored in the new official science.
Reality is greater than what physical science can inform us, and the new official science calls us to employ metaphysical science which its scope and character matches and aligns with the scope and character of reality.
The new official science is set to make possible new technologies that can only be possible by the understanding of the unity of the universe. Also, we must not let our human vices guide us in the exploration of the practical significance of metaphysical science.
The truth harms no one; rather it heals, and for this reason, we should seek to employ scientific truths for the betterment of humanity. These new knowledge are not for show-offs or for across border tensions; rather we should let them purify us. We are one; under one science, one reality, and one God.
The unity of the universe has now been discovered, and upon this discovered unity we should recognize our own collective unity. And just as the unity of the universe is metaphysical and beyond the differences we see, so is the collective unity of mankind metaphysical and beyond our physical differences.
We all are children of this unified metaphysical reality, and the new official science recognizes this. There should, therefore, be no discrimination, official exploitation, inequality, and intimidation of any person regardless of the person’s race, creed or affiliation.
The new official science acknowledges the ethical consequences that come with metaphysical science. This greater and holy unity among us is the new environment necessary to foster the new science.
The new official science is spirit-centred and not man-ego-centred. Neither matter nor any man stands at the centre but the Spirit of the Universe. We must restore the sacredness of science and of the universe.
Also, while the new official science is a result of the progress from physical science to metaphysical science, it makes no mockery of philosophy. It imbibes and redefines the purpose of philosophy.
True philosophy is at the heart of the new official science. This is why I sometimes refer to this age as the age of the philosophers. Both philosophy and science are being birthed anew by post-modern physics.
Post-modern physics comes with new philosophical consequences that are of utmost concern to the new official science. In the new official science, we recognize the unity of science and the unity of philosophy.
To the new official science, science is the spiritual movement that can wrest man from the shackles of materialism; and for whatsoever we conceive God to be, science more than any other endeavour is more fit to assist us in discerning His true nature.
The new official science calls us to embrace the metaphysical and seek to understand the universe as such. The new science is profoundly metaphysical and not by force, but because our natural scientific progress has brought us to this threshold.
No matter what, we can no longer avoid the metaphysical nature of reality, the time is now ripe for us to ascend to the true understanding of all things. And I can only hope that as time marches on, we would come to discover other profound metaphysical truths about the universe.
We should let these truths purge us and make us a perfect civilization. We should no longer look into the gutters and divide ourselves into warring and striving nations, rather we should look at the stars and march out into the universe by a unified cosmic program aimed at fully exploring the cosmos.
We must have faith in ourselves that we can understand the universe and that we can apply this knowledge aright. We must know that science is not only the lens with which we view and understand the universe, it is also the veil through which we see the “unapproachable light” of God.
All things are possible with the new official science. We shall conquer diseases, calm the elements, harness free energy, settle the Earth, and restore cosmic balance etc. Nothing shall be impossible unto us, as we embrace this new science from above.
The new official science is beyond the academia or any academic imposition. It is universal, wide-spread and its significance is directly impartful upon every individual. The new official science realizes the beyond scholastic value of metaphysical science.
The new official science is for all of us, and no gate-keepers or self-established custodians, for the new science shall launch us all into a new experience of reality. We shall all touch the divine essence of the universe.
This new reality which can be communicated by post-modern technologies that can only result from this new truth will become our daily experience. No man shall teach another about the universe, for all of us shall have one experience of it. The profound knowledge of metaphysical science is of general significance.
The old official science was an academic institution based on the physical investigation of the universe, but the new official science is a universal institution based on the metaphysical investigation of the universe.
The new official science has completely displaced the old official science, so that we all can march to the truth without internal oppositions or dragging. The new official science has come, and it must thrive and blossom in the investigation and dissemination of true scientific knowledge based on the metaphysical observation of the universe.
For the new official science!
Until next time.
