The Post-modern Explanation of Compton Effect

In this great scientific article, I am going to enlighten you about the true post-modern explanation of a popular phenomenon in physics called the Compton effect. The Compton effect or scattering is named after Arthur H. Compton who verified it as a prediction of special relativity in 1923.

Basically, according to special relativity and modern physics, the Compton effect describes the change in the energy and momentum of light when it interacts with an electrical body such as an electron.

This beautiful experiment has been described and proven countless times in our institutions of learning since it was discovered by Arthur Compton. Yet surprisingly, there is still a flaw in our description of this experiment, and I want to expose this flaw in your current understanding of Compton effect in this great scientific article. 

Special relativity presents us with a description of the Compton’s effect as the change in 4-momentum of light when it interacts with an electrical body, and it borrows the central thesis of quantum theory that this change in the 4-momentum of light occurs because light consists of massless particles called photons.

The explanation of the Compton’s effect according to special relativity is flawed and it hides important aspects of this effect from you. I will expose to you in this article the true and universal understanding of this experiment, and this post-modern explanation shall further enlighten you on the true nature of the atomic world of electrical bodies.

The Modern Description of Compton Effect

The wrong premise in the modern description of the Compton effect according to special relativity arises because modern physics doesn’t take note of the difference in the essence of light between ponderable (non-charged) bodies and electrical (charged) bodies.

This is all the more important when you realize that you, the observer of the experiment, are a ponderable (non-charged) body. So, there is a fundamental difference in the essence of light between you and the electron which is a charged body.

Special relativity presents us with an incomplete and naive understanding of this experiment by informing us that light travels at a constant speed and thus carries momentum relative to both the observer and the electron.

In the above diagram, light maintains a constant speed c before and after its interaction with the atomic particle which we would take to be an electron. The above also shows us that the momentum of light p before the interaction with the electron is not the same as that  p’ after  the interaction.

This change in the momentum of light is indicated in the diagram above as the change in the color of the light wave from purple to light blue. The mass of the electron is denoted as m. Like as I have said, modern physics would want you to understand that the momentum of light is what changes and that it changes according to the expression below,

The expression above which was gotten from the conservation of relative momentum depicts the observed change in the momentum of light due to its interaction with the electron. This interaction has been interpreted to be due to the fact that light consists of massless particles called photons.

The explanation of the Compton effect according to special relativity has erroneously convinced physicist that light cannot entirely be explained as a wave. This is very wrong. Light manifests itself only as a wave and not as a particle of any kind or supposition, and not even as a photon.

This brings us to the revolutionary importance of this article and of absolute relativity, for in this article and for the first time in scientific history, we shall be explaining the Compton effect as been due to the wave nature of light.

Author’s Note: I do not wish to show you the mathematical deduction of the above which is popular already, rather I want to show you the new mathematical derivation that proceeds from absolute relativity.

In what is to follow, which is the true description of the Compton effect, we shall understand why this phenomenon occurs in the universe. 

Background of this Investigation

I will be showing you the truth about Compton effect only on the theoretical background of (post-modern) relativity. Special relativity and quantum mechanics want you to think that the Compton effect occurs because light is a particle, for if not, light cannot impact momentum on the electron, which in turn results in a loss of momentum for light.

In this article, I will describe the Compton effect following the subtle and insightful laws of absolute relativity. 

Now, absolute relativity informs us that the true reason why the Compton effect occurs is because light accelerates in the atomic world carrying absolute force and not momentum. But outside the atomic world,  light travels at a constant speed, and thus carries momentum.

Special relativity and modern physics have made us wrongly think that light travels at a constant speed in all domains of the universe. This is not true. Light accelerates inside the atom and for all electrical bodies. we shall describe this experiment using this very central thesis in post-modern physics.

Now, let’s look at the Compton effect through the lens of absolute relativity which is an aspect of absolute science.

The Post-modern Description of Compton Effect

In absolute relativity, we have the profound knowledge that light travels at a constant speed outside the atom and accelerates inside the atom. So with this new understanding, we will describe the Compton effect as shown in the diagram below.

Remember I have told you that special relativity is the mathematical framework of the unified field theory. Now, I want to proceed to interpret the Compton effect using the same mathematical framework of special relativity, but changing our focus from light as photons carrying momentum to light as an accelerating wave carrying force. This is the method of absolute relativity.

In the atomic world, light is not a particle of any kind as modern physics teaches you, light simply accelerates inside the atom and for all electrical (charged) bodies. The diagram above shows us that outside the atom or in the view of an observer who is a ponderable body, light is approaching the electron as a constant speeding wave carrying momentum p, but inside the atom or to the electron, light is approaching it as an accelerating wave carrying force F.

It is important to understand the change in the associated quantity of light outside and inside the atomic world. This indispensable knowledge is missing from today’s science, and it has made us wrongly interpret or understand this experiment.

So, the force vector of light as it approaches the electron is represented as,

And the force vector of the electron which is assumed to be at accelerated rest is given as,

Accelerated rest is the form of rest that all electrical bodies experience, and as can be seen in the force vector above, it is related to the acceleration of light. You shall come to further understand this newly revealed form of rest in the universe as I explain in this blog all the natural phenomena associated with it.

It should to be distinguished from uniform rest which I shall also explain further in this blog its associated phenomena. Listen, these new discoveries have opened up new frontiers for scientific research and advancement which are also indispensable for the resolution of the crisis in physics.

The force or force vector of light and the electron after the interaction are consecutively represented as,

The acceleration of light for the electron when at accelerated rest and that when in accelerated motion is that of the approaching light wave before the interaction. This is satisfactory because the electron after the interaction with light cannot accelerate greater than the acceleration of light ac before the interaction and not the acceleration of light a’after the interaction.

But nevertheless, the acceleration of light a’c after the interaction still underlyingly factors in our elucidations of the force F’ of light after the interaction. Understand this. 

Now, by the conservation of force, the force of the system of light and the electron before the interaction should be equal to that after the interaction. And this is mathematically stated as,

Collecting like terms and squaring both sides of the above, we would have that,

\left ( F_{y}-F'_{y}\right )\:^{2}=\left ( F_{e}-F'_{e}\right )\:^{2}

Expanding the above results into

F_{y}.\:F_{y}+\;F'_{y}.\:F'_{y}-2F_{y}.\:F'_{y}=F_{e}.\:F_{e}+\;F'_{e}.\:F'_{e}-2F_{e}.\:F'_{e}

For the dot product of the vectors above F.F=0 and for all electrons F.F=m2ac2. This mathematical principle of the dot product for force is similar to that for momentum in special relativity.

However, in absolute relativity, we are not looking at photons carrying momentum, rather we are looking at accelerating light carrying force. Please understand this distinction between modern physics and post-modern physics.

Substituting the above deductions into the factors of the expanded expression, we would have that,

-2FF'(1-\left (\right-cos\:\theta)=2m^{2}\;{a_{c}}^{2}-2\.\alpha_{e}\. m^{2}\;{a_{c}}^{2}

-2FF'(1-\left (\right-cos\:\theta)=2(1-\left (\right-\alpha_{e} )m^{2}\;{a_{c}}^{2}

Dividing both sides by 2

-FF'(1-\left (\right-cos\:\theta)=(1-\left (\right-\alpha_{e} )m^{2}\;{a_{c}}^{2}

Understanding that (\alpha_{e}-\left (\right-1)\:m\.a_{c}=F-F' by the conservation of force which applies only in the atomic world, then, 

-2FF'(1-\left (\right-cos\:\theta)=(F-\left (\right -F')\:m\:a_{c}

Rearranging the above expression results in,

\frac{F-F'}{FF'}=\frac{1}{m\:a_{c}}(1-\left (\right-cos\:\theta)

From the above, we get that difference in the force (of the acceleration) of light becomes,

\frac{1}{F'}-\frac{1}{F}=\frac{1}{m\:a_{c}}(1-\left (\right-cos\:\theta)\;\;.\;\;\;\;.\;\;\;\;.\;\;\;\;.\;\;(5)

Now the above expression is the true mathematical representation of Compton effect as it occurs in the atomic world. What truly changes is the force of light as it interacts with the electron nd not the momentum of light.

I want you to at this point remember Newton’s second law of motion, which informs us that a body does not change its state of motion unless force is applied to it. This describes the case of the Compton effect or scattering where accelerating light loses force because it impacts force and not momentum on the electron during the interaction.

However, an observer outside the atom observes this change in the force of light as a change in the momentum of light because light changes it essence from an accelerating wave carrying force inside the atom to a constant speeding wave carrying momentum outside the atom. Understand this.

This change in force F’ is observed as a change in momentum p’ outside the atomic world, as the post-modern depiction of the Compton effect above shows us. That light is an accelerating wave is the greatest secret of the atomic world! We have been investigating the atomic world wrongly for the past 100 years. The photon of light does not exist.

So because of the inescapable change in the essence of light, to the electron, what really changes is the force and not the momentum of light from F to F’, but to an observer outside the atomic world, what really changes is the momentum of light and not the force of light from p to p’.

An observer inside the atom which experiences the acceleration of light would realize that the Compton effect occurs according to the conservation of force and not the conservation of momentum, whereas an observer outside the atom would observe or describe the Compton effect according to the conservation of momentum and not the conservation of force.

This is why the Compton effect as explained or interpreted in special relativity has been proven right countless times even though the description according to special relativity does not capture the true event as it happens in the atomic world.

Compton Effect and the Two Energy Conservation Laws

Also, not evident or pointed out yet is that in the atomic world the conservation of force is accompanied by the conservation of energy in Joules/s2, while outside the atomic world, the conservation of momentum is accompanied by the conservation of energy in Joules.

While we shall discuss these two forms of energy conservation in my future articles, however, I for now want you to understand summarily the entire ramifications of the Compton effect and the operations and phenomena of the atomic world.

The Compton effect as observed inside and outside the atomic worlds follows two conservations laws of energy. To digress a little. Today’s scientists and astronomers are puzzled by the existence of dark energy. But I want you to know that the discovery of dark energy is hinting to us the second conservation law of energy in Joules/s2 in the universe.

There are two conservation laws of energy in the universe. We are very familiar with energy in Joules, but the second form of energy in Joules/s, which we have dubbed as dark energy, is now been revealed to you in absolute science.

So, to generalize this new understanding of Compton effect, I must state that inside the atomic world, the force and energy in Joules/s2 of the acceleration of light ac are what actually change during Compton interaction, but outside the atomic world, it is the momentum and energy in Joules of the speed of light c that are perceived to change due to the former interaction.

The different interpretations of the Compton effect arise because of the alteration of the essence of light within and outside the atomic world. You must now understand that the speed of light is not constant in all domains.

Compton Effect and Fundamental Principles

According to special relativity, the Compton effect or scattering is underlyingly governed by the principle of inertia. The principle of inertia according to relative science states that rest and uniform motion are indistinguishable. I usually call this form of the principle of inertia the relative principle of inertia.

Now, since I have just shown to you the true explanation of Compton effect devoid of the concept of the photon. So it remains the question: by what new principle is the post-modern interpretation of Compton effect governed? The principle is the principle of non-inertia which states that accelerated rest and accelerated motion are indistinguishable.

The principle of non-inertia is the true cause and governing principle of the Compton effect. However, this principle applies strongly within the atomic world. The observer outside the atomic world which observes the Compton effect as a change in momentum of light observes this due to the principle of inertia according to absolute science.

Absolute science now teaches us that the true form of the principle of inertia states that uniform rest and uniform motion are indistinguishable. I usually call this the absolute principle of inertia.

So I want you to now distinguish between the relative principle of inertia which you have always known since classical physics and the absolute principle of inertia which you would be learning about in this post-modern era of physics.

You know, there is one bad tradition in today’s science which is that today’s science seems to apply fundamental principles to all domains. This is due to our incomplete understanding of the universe and her qualitative nature.

Listen, as the above diagram shows, the absolute principle of inertia applies exclusively outside the atom, it does not hold in the atomic world. Whereas in the atomic world, the (strong phase) principle of non-inertia exclusively applies and does not apply outside the atomic world.

Quantum mechanics lacks any fundamental principle which can enlighten us about the true nature of the atomic world. And for this reason, there is no understanding in quantum mechanics.

While the atomic world operates on a different principle from the outside world, it is however still intuitive, in that we can understand it when we embrace absolute science. This article shows us that the Compton effect which we observe is due to the newly revealed fact that light carries force inside the atom and not because light consists of photons.

Without this, an observer outside the atom would not observe any change in the momentum of light and the Compton effect would not exist. As we continue you would be learning more about these principles which are actually seven in number. I want to also let you know that I have just explained the Compton effect in this article by applying uniquely relative and absolute principles.

However, when you proceed to understand the Compton effect only according to absolute principles, you will realize that there are three respective explanations and mathematical depictions of the Compton effect.

In this article I have shown only two, however, I will expose the third one to you soon, as I lay down more concretely the foundation of absolute science. Absolute science has come so that in this great age we might have a tremendous understanding of all things.   

Summary

This article has shown you how the foundation of quantum mechanics has been replaced by a more powerful theory. We have investigated the Compton effect as it occurs in the atomic world using the true conceptual framework for describing the Compton effect.

This true conceptual framework is absolute relativity, and if you observe the mathematical derivations in this article, you would realize that they are similar to that of special relativity. I have informed you that the mathematical framework of special relativity is also that of the unified field theory. The errors in special relativity are its wrong interpretation and philosophical background.

This article has shown us the different perception or observations of the Compton effect in the ponderable and electrical universes. This is a powerful understanding of the universe that has come to you today.

The atomic world is no longer a closed box, it is now an open box. We now know that the Compton effect occurs because light accelerates relative to electrical bodies, and thus it carries force which changes due to its interaction with electrical bodies.
