This is probably going to be one of my controversial scientific articles, but it is not really controversial if you understand what post-modern physics informs us about the qualitative nature of the universe.
Also, this scientific article is one of my articles that increases my fascination for alchemy which teaches us about the transformations of “the one thing”.
To understand how “the one thing“ can be what is responsible for the different manifestations we see in the universe is one of the central, mystical knowledge of alchemy. And in post-modern physics, we know that “the one thing” is inertia; it’s not mass and it’s not weight.
But since classical physics argues that we don’t directly sense mass, rather what we directly sense is weight, it, therefore, implies that the new proposition of post-modern physics that what we sense is inertia confronts it.
Now, we know that what is called weight is simply force due to gravity, and in classical physics, it is taken that every body that has mass has this weight-force. I prefer to use the redundant term weight-force so that you won’t forget in this scientific article that weight is a kind of force.
As said above, classical physics takes that force is a general impression on all bodies in the universe, both atomic and non-atomic bodies, and this is due to the purely quantitative nature of force in classical physics.
But what happens if force is not a general impression on all bodies? What if there is a qualitative boundary to the application of force in the universe such that it does not apply to all bodies in the universe?
If the above is the case, then weight-force is not a general sensation in the universe. Now, post-modern physics informs us along this direction and it reveals to us that force only applies to atomic bodies or that it exists only in the atomic world.
The above is the true nature and application of force in the universe and it is what confronts the notion that weight is what we sense in the universe. If it is to be said properly, only electrical bodies can sense their weight-force but this is not the case because of the strong phase of the principle of non-inertia which ensures that they don’t sense the effects of absolute acceleration.
And outside the atomic world, in the domain of ponderable bodies such as us, force does not exist. What exists is 5-momentum and there are also cases when we don’t sense this 5-momentum due to the strong manifestation of the principle of non-inertia.
So, even if we want to sense the effects of our mass in the ponderable world outside the atom, what we would be sensing is 5-momentum and not force or weight-force.
The above is due to the qualitative nature of motion which places boundaries on how the absolute quantities of motion apply to ponderable and electrical bodies in the universe.
Post-modern is making us realize that there is no such thing as weight-force outside the atomic world and even in the atomic world where it exists, it cannot possibly be sensed due to the strong phase of the principle of non-inertia.

This common underlying essence is what will replace force as the possible common sensation that actually exists for both ponderable and electrical bodies. Now, post-modern physics is informing us that this underlying essence is inertia.
Why it is inertia goes deeper into how motion is communicated to bodies in the universe. In post-modern physics, we are learning that there cannot be motion without inertia. Therefore every means by which motion is communicated in the universe must carry inertia.
With this understanding, you can see momentum and force as the different conduits that can communicate inertia in the universe and are not by themselves what is being communicated or necessary for motion to occur in the universe.
Furthermore, why I see inertia as what we sense and not weight is simply because of the fact that inertia is the only true substance of the universe and by which the universe was built.
So, with inertia being the fundamental substance, then it can only imply that it is what we universally sense and not weight-force. Inertia is the one thing by which all matter and form were constructed, thus it is the only true object of sensation.
When motion is communicated in the universe, what is really communicated is inertia and not really force or 5-momentum which are simply conduits for the communication of inertia.
The 5-momentum is the conduit used to communicate inertia to ponderable, non-atomic bodies while absolute force is the conduit used to communicate inertia to atomic bodies. Thus, what we sense and formerly called weight-force is actually inertia.
Inertia becomes what we sense and not weight as post-modern has revealed to us that inertia is the central quantity required for motion to occur in the universe. Thus, momentum and force are not by themselves what are necessary to produce motion as was thought before.
To argue or contend that it is weight has been defeated by the simple fact that force does not exist outside the atomic world, that force is not a general quantity. And even in the atomic world where force exists, it cannot be sensed because of the principle of non-inertia.
But what I want you to come to understand beyond the above explanations is that inertia is “the one thing” from which all things were made. So, we can only really sense inertia. Mass is just a form of inertia and this has been discussed in this scientific article which is importantly related to this one. And if mass is just a form of inertia, then force which is derived from mass is also just a more abstract form of inertia.
Inertia is what we sense and not weight. The only sensation in the universe is inertia, not mass, not force and not momentum. This is the pure and absolute understanding of our common sensation in the universe.
In addition, the newly discovered extensiveness of inertia and how it is inextricably associated with the two principles of motion, which are the principle of inertia and the principle of non-inertia, makes inertia the only sensation in the universe.
What we call weight is not what is inextricably associated with both of these principles of motion and this makes it not a sensation in the universe. I want you to take note of what has been said in this paragraph and in the one before because they contain in a very illuminating manner the exact points that I want you to understand in this scientific article.
This article is pretty simple about its proposition. What we called weight-force is simply the force due to mass or the sensation of a body of its internal content.
And because we referred to mass as the fundamental constituent of matter, we proposed that bodies sense their weight-force. But when we find out that inertia is the fundamental constituent of matter, we would then propose that bodies sense their internal inertia.
The greater the internal inertia of a body, the more it becomes that the body has a greater mass. Neither mass nor force is underlying and what is underlying is inertia.
Since weight-force and every other mass derived sensations are not general, we have to proceed deeper to find what is general and can be the cause of the overwhelming sensation we have in the universe.
This is how we find out that at the simplest level, inertia is the only sensation in the universe. This is a move towards synthesis as we no longer have the two cases of the sensation of inertia and weight like we did in classical physics. Inertia is now the only sensation in the universe.
