The Cause of the Precession of Orbits

One of the phenomena of the cosmos that brings us inevitably to the feet of absolute science for explanation is the precession of orbits. The explanation of the precession of orbits is buried deep in absolute science, so don’t be taken aback if I fail to relate my elucidation in this article with relative science.

We have quite a long history of the explanation of the precession of orbits. According to Newton’s theory, the precession of the orbits of a heavenly body was due to perturbations and the gravitational effects of neighbouring heavenly bodies.

After Newton laid down his gravitational theory, it was realized that it could account for the precession of all the planets except for Mercury. It could not account for the minute shift in the perihelion of the orbits of Mercury which from the Earth’s frame is measured to be 5600 seconds of arc per century. 

“Newton’s equations, taking into account all the effects from the other planets (as well as a very slight deformation of the sun due to its rotation) and the fact that the Earth is not an inertial frame of reference, predicts a precession of 5557 seconds of arc per century. There is a discrepancy of 43 seconds of arc per century.” 

Then, in 1916, Einstein’s proposed his theory of general relativity and by this theory, he accurately made up for the missing 43 seconds arc per century. This result by general relativity has ever since been purported as one of the proofs of the validity of general relativity.

However, I have come to raise the vital question again, what is the true cause of the precession of orbits? Why did Newton’s theory fail to give account of the precession of Mercury’s orbit? The answer to this question is simple, true, and also deep, and as I have said, it is buried in absolute science.

One of the core flaws in Newton’s gravitational theory, which Newton realized himself, is the absence of the explanation of the mechanism by which gravitating bodies interact with each other.

Newton had left this open. This loophole in Newton’s theory if compensated will give us the true understanding of the cause of the precession of all orbits, and not just an account of the precession of the orbit of Mercury.

In this scientific article, I am particularly concerned about causes and not hard numbers which from the higher perspective of understanding are effects. The central cause of the precession of orbits aligns with the true mechanism by which the heavenly bodies interact with each other and which is missing in Newton’s theory.

Though Newton’s theory had laid it down in principle that these precessions are caused by the gravitational effects of other planets which perturb each other’s orbit, there is still a deeper relatable cause which removes every anomaly from the phenomenon of precession.

I say relatable because gravi-electrodynamics which is the post-modern conceptual framework for accelerated frames preserves the essential components of Newton’s theory with only a slight yet radical alterations. General relativity is a farther cry from Newton’s theory even though it reduces to Newton’s theory at certain conditions.

General relativity and Newton’s theory are very conceptually different, but gravi-electrodynamics is conceptually different from Newton’s theory to a lesser extent. The explanation of the precession of Mercury offered by general relativity is relatable to the explanation of the mechanism of gravitational interaction it proffers.

In general relativity, the effects of gravity are communicated by gravitational waves which move across the ripples of space and time. From this description of the mechanism of gravitational interaction, Einstein accounted for the discrepancy of 43 seconds of arc per century.

Now, gravi-electrodynamics gives us another explanation of the mechanism of gravitational interactions. According to gravi-electrodynamics, which is the extension of electrodynamics, the interactions of the heavenly bodies are mediated or communicated by gravi-electromagnetic wave.

Gravi-electrodynamics shifts our attention from gravity or gravitational waves to gravi-electromagnetic wave which is the second non-mechanical wave in the universe after light or the electromagnetic wave. In post-modern physics, we have the E-wave which is the electromagnetic wave and we have the G-wave which is the gravi-electromagnetic wave.

The gravi-electromagnetic wave is a non-mechanical wave just like light, so certain things that are true and apply to light must also be true and apply to gravi-electromagnetic wave. What are the certain things that I’m talking about?

N. B: I like to sometimes refer to light as the electromagnetic wave when talking about it alongside the gravi-electromagnetic wave so that you can see that the absence and the presence of gravity distinguish between the two non-mechanical waves in the universe.

One of them is the dynamic shift of light. We are familiar with the concepts of the redshift and blueshift of light (or the electromagnetic wave) when there is relative motion between a source and an observer, or between the rest frame of light and another frame in uniform motion.

Now, the gravi-electromagnetic wave being a non-mechanical wave like light also experiences dynamical shifts. The gravi-electromagnetic wave also shifts when there is relative motion between its source and an observer, or between its rest frame and another frame in accelerated motion.

Please, notice how I associated the dynamical shift of light with uniform frames, and the dynamical shift of gravi-electromagnetic wave with accelerated frames. This is because, while light or the electromagnetic wave governs uniform frames, the gravi-electromagnetic wave governs accelerated frames.

Let’s get to the interesting part. Now, because light for uniform frames does not cause the motion of uniform frames the dynamic shift of light is therefore not intimately connected to the motion of uniform frames, but this is not the case for the gravi-electromagnetic wave and accelerated frames.

Knowing that heavenly bodies in natural motion accelerate, I want you to also know that the dynamic shift of gravi-electromagnetic wave is intimately connected to the accelerated motion of heavenly bodies because it causes their accelerated motion.

The wave producing the motion of heavenly bodies is called the gravi-electromagnetic wave which carries and impresses 5-momentum on them. This is unlike the case for light and uniform frames where light carrying 4-momentum cannot directly cause or produce motion for uniform frames.

In other words, we can in a way separate the motion of light from the motion of uniform heavenly bodies, but we cannot separate the motion of gravi-electromagnetic wave from the accelerated motion of heavenly bodies.

To further understand this, just imagine what it would be like to be pushed by a wave that is also experiencing a dynamic shift of its own motion. I want you to imagine this scenario. I really don’t want to teach you about what causes precession, I want you to come to understand it yourself.

So, what happens when heavenly bodies are moved by gravi-electromagnetic wave which is also experiencing a dynamic shift in its motion is that their orbits shifts. This is the true cause of precession or orbital motion.

Listen, this new insight gives concreteness to the idea of the precession or shift of orbits. First of all, how can orbits shift? It is not tangible. Something else must be doing the shifting, some sort of wave. This is how physics should answer the question.

The orbits of heavenly bodies cannot maintain a single ellipse because of the dynamic shift of gravi-electromagnetic wave. We have not been able to describe it as such because we cannot observe the gravi-electromagnetic wave using our physical eyes. Without absolute science, we can never know this.

When we ascend to the perception and utilization of gravi-electromagnetic wave, we shall realize that what we call the precession of the orbits of heavenly bodies is simply the shift of gravi-electromagnetic waves that move heavenly bodies.

The precession of the orbits of moving bodies is more real than we had thought. It is the shift of the very wave that moves the heavenly bodies themselves. So, when the orbits of moving bodies shifts, it is because something concrete, the gravi-electromagnetic wave, shifts.

So, in post-modern physics, we are understanding the precession of the orbits of moving bodies as the dynamic shift in gravi-electromagnetic wave in a similar fashion as we understand the shift of the electromagnetic wave.

While the shift of the electromagnetic wave produces visual observations, the shift of the gravi-electromagnetic wave produces the observation of the shift of the orbits of the heavenly bodies. We are observing the same phenomenon in two different ways.

So, there is a difference between the dynamic shift of light and that of gravi-electromagnetic wave which emerges from the mathematics. Let’s now proceed to describe the dynamic shift of gravi-electromagnetic wave according to the true and subtle laws of absolute science.

The Dynamic Shift of Gravi-electromagnetic Wave and the Orbital Motion of Heavenly Bodies 

Let’s have that the 5-momentum of gravi-electromagnetic wave for frame K at accelerated rest be represented as,

The deduction of the shift of the 5-momentum of gravi-electromagnetic wave is represented in squares because of the orthogonality principle. Then for frame K’ which in this case can be a heavenly body moving with accelerated velocity –va in the Δx direction in accelerated space, the 5-momentum becomes,

From the above, we find that the acceleration ratio is a part of the beta number. So, the shift in 5-momentum p’a by comparing the above two equations becomes expressible as,

In the above \gamma_p\.^2=\delta_o\.^2\left(1-\frac{v_a\,^2}{c^2}+\frac {a^2}{g^2}\right)^{-1}=\delta_o\.^2\. \left(1-\beta_c^2+\beta_g^2 \right)^{-1}

Further solving equation (1) we obtain that,

The 5-momentum of the precessing orbits of heavenly bodies corresponds to the difference between the rest 5-momentum Pa and the shifted 5-momentum P’a. The rest 5-momentum of gravi-electromagnetic wave shows us that there is another kind of rest in the universe.

This forms of rest from which one can discern the rest frame of gravi-electromagnetic wave is what I call accelerated rest. It is different from uniform rest from which one discerns the rest frame of light (or the electromagnetic wave).

There are two forms of rest in the universe corresponding to the two non-mechanical waves in the universe. Representing the above equation in terms of the electromagnetic beta number βc and the gravitational beta number βg, we have that,

Due to the orthogonality principle, we arrive at a result for the shift in 5-momentum of gravi-electromagnetic wave that is different from the result for the shift in 4-momentum of light.

The dynamic shift factor which is the co-efficient of the 5-momentum pa can only be greater than unity because the numerator of the factors in the square root can only be greater and never lesser than the denominator. It is like having a constant redshift, not of light, but of gravi-electromagnetic wave.

So, because of the orthogonality principle, we have a shift more condition and a shift less condition for the dynamical shift of the 5-momentum of gravi-electromagnetic wave. This is unlike light where we have a redshift condition and a blueshift condition.

So, what are the two shift more and shift less conditions? They are: 

  1. The 5-momentum shifts more when the accelerated delta number δo is greater than 1 and βc > βg.
  2. The 5-momentum shifts less when the accelerated delta number δo is less than 1 and βc < βg.

Now, for heavenly bodies the electromagnetic ratio βis usually very small, so the factors in the square root besides the accelerated delta number δo is usually lesser or greater than one by small proportions. This is why we have low values of the precessions of heavenly bodies.

However, the accelerated delta number not being equal to one like the uniform delta number thus produces an amplifying or de-amplifying effect on the shift of the 5-momentum of gravi-electromagnetic wave. The effect of the accelerated delta number leads to the newly proposed concepts of amplified precession and de-amplified precession

The concept of amplified precession arises because of the amplifying or added effect of the accelerated delta number δo on precession as the 5-velocity increases or as βc ↑ βg.

The amplifying effect of the accelerated delta number δo is what is responsible for the extra 43 seconds of arc per century which Newton’s theory could not account for concerning the perihelion precession of Mercury.

I say so because Newton’s inverse square law is as a result of the orthogonality principle, so if Newton’s inverse square law is not sufficient to explain the precession of the perihelion of Mercury, it is as a result of the orthogonality principle as shown above not being enough to account for the shift in gravi-electromagnetic wave.

The equation (1b) shows that the accelerated delta number is also an important factor affecting in an amplifying manner the shift of gravi-electromagnetic wave and thus the precession of Mercury.

Also, the concept of de-amplified precession arises because of the de-amplifying or diminishing effect of the accelerated delta number on precession as the accelerated velocity decreases or as βc ↓ βg, the accelerated delta number could be responsible for whatever observable missing seconds of arc per century.

With regards to our Solar System, the new prediction of de-amplified precession informs us that as we move from Mercury outwards towards Pluto in the direction of decreasing accelerated velocity and also with βc ↓ βg, the orbits of the planets begin to lose seconds of arcs per century with the orbit of Pluto experiencing the most lost.

But if we move from Pluto inwards and towards Mercury in the direction of increasing accelerated velocity and also with βc ↑ βg, the orbits of the planets begin to gain seconds of arcs per century with the orbit of Mercury experiencing the most gain.

The diagram below captures this new insight about precession that emerges from absolute science:

The precession of the nine planets

The planet Mercury is at the region in our Solar System where the amplified effect of the accelerated delta number on the shift of gravi-electromagnetic wave can be observed. This whole idea of precession as being due to the shift of gravi-electromagnetic gets more interesting when you realize that gravi-electromagnetic wave also shifts inside the atom.

So precession is not a phenomenon that applies only to the orbits heavenly bodies, it also applies to the orbits of atomic bodies. However, while the orbits of heavenly bodies experience a shift in the 5-momentum of gravi-electromagnetic wave, the orbits of atomic bodies experience a shift in the force of gravi-electromagnetic wave.

Now, let’s proceed to describe the dynamic shift of gravi-electromagnetic wave as it arises in the atomic world.

The Dynamic Shift of Gravi-electromagnetic Wave and the Orbital Motion of Atomic Bodies 

Let’s have that the force for gravi-electromagnetic wave in frame K at accelerated rest be represented as

From the above, we find that the acceleration ratio is a part of the beta number. So the shift in force F’ by comparing the above two equations becomes expressible as,

Further solving equation(2) we obtain that,

The force of the precessing orbits of atomic bodies corresponds to the difference between the rest force F and the shifted force F’. Representing the above equation in terms of the electromagnetic beta number βa and the gravitational beta number βg we have that,

Also, because of the orthogonality principle, we have a shift more condition and a shift less condition for the shift of the force of gravi-electromagnetic wave. So, what are the two shift more and shift less conditions? They are: 

  1. The force of gravi-electromagnetic wave shifts more when βa > βg.
  2. The force of gravi-electromagnetic wave shifts less when βa < βg.

Since the accelerated delta δ for the dynamic shift of the force of gravi-electromagnetic wave relative to atomic bodies equals one, the possible effects of amplification and de-amplification of precessions which may arise due to the accelerated delta number are non-existent in the atomic world.

This is another major distinguishing factor between precessions of the orbits of atomic bodies from the precessions of the orbits of heavenly bodies. Also, this condition of gravi-electromagnetic shift where the accelerated delta number equals unity is identical to the condition for the Doppler shift of light where the uniform delta number also equals unity.

Just as the shift of the 4-momentum of light outside the atom experiences no amplification or de-amplification due to the uniform delta number, so also does the dynamic shift of the force of gravi-electromagnetic inside the atom experiences no amplification or de-amplification due to the accelerated delta number.

This identical situation is as a result of the second correspondence principle in the universe. I have talked about the second correspondence principle in this article. I want you to begin to perceive the unity of all things.

Now, for atomic bodies the electromagnetic ratio βa is usually great, so the factors in the square root besides the accelerated delta number δa is usually lesser or greater than one by considerable proportions. This leads to a more chaotic or active precession inside the atomic world.

Crucial Discussion

This article without any doubt revolutionalizes your understanding of the precession of the orbits of moving bodies. General relativity does not explicitly describe the cause of precession, it only gave an account of the 43 seconds of arc per century unaccountable by Newton’s theory.

However, the account of the 43 seconds of arc per century unaccountable by Newton’s theory implies that the geometric description of gravity in general relativity as the curvature of spacetime is correct. This is not the truth.

Beyond the anomalous precession of the perihelion of Mercury, post-modern physics now informs us of the underlying cause of precession as being due to the non-zero proportion of the 5-momentum and force of gravi-electromagnetic wave.

Thus, precessing orbits carry real quantities such as 5-momentum and force just like moving bodies. Outside the atom, the precessing orbits of heavenly bodies carry 5-momentum, while inside the atom, the precessing orbits of atomic bodies carry force. This is a great scientific truth.

These important realizations come from the new fact that precessions are results of the shifts in gravi-electromagnetic wave which is a real non-mechanical wave just as light. In post-modern physics, orbital motion is very real and tangible.

Absolute relativity now presents to us the true wave description of the universe and thus of precession. General relativity does not give us a true wave description of the universe. Its geometrical description of gravity is a far cry from reality.

The precession of the orbits of heavenly bodies is no longer an anomalous phenomenon, it is a natural phenomenon which now extends even to the orbits of atomic bodies. This encompassing perspective of precession is revealed by The Theory of the Universe.

In post-modern physics, we now look at how the gravi-electromagnetic wave and not gravitational waves govern the motion of accelerating bodies in the universe. I want you and me to look deeper into reality. I want us to come as close as possible to the true nature of reality. For until then, we can never understand the universe.

This article gives you a new understanding of precession and I want you to think deeply about it. This article tells you that the dynamic shift or precession of orbits is due to the dynamic shift of gravi-electromagnetic wave.
