I have discussed in an earlier article published some time ago why there are no gravitational waves in the universe and why what really exist are gravi-electromagnetic waves.
Now, in this scientific post, I want to expatiate further on this previous article and to tell you why gravi-electromagnetic waves are better replacements of gravitational waves.
Historically, the existence of gravitational waves was a prediction of Einstein’s general theory of relativity published in 1915. And it wasn’t until 100 years later on September 14, 2015, that gravitational waves were reportedly detected by the LIGO observatories.
This brought immense excitement to the scientific community and to members of the public who were aware of the prediction. But now post-modern physics contends that gravitational waves do not exist. How do we reconcile this with the reported discovery of gravitational waves?
Well, they cannot be reconciled and this is because post-modern physics refutes the existence of gravitational waves and it rather proposes the existence of gravi-electromagnetic waves.
These two waves are different. According to general relativity, gravitational waves are topological waves; they are ripples of space-time. But according to gravi-electrodynamics – the branch of post-modern physics that deals with the relativity of accelerated motion – gravi-electromagnetic waves are non-mechanical waves just like the electromagnetic waves or what we popularly call light.
Now, look at the two propositions and tell me which one rings true. Post-modern physics seeks to inform us that light is not the only non-mechanical wave in the universe, that there is another non-mechanical wave which is the gravi-electromagnetic wave.
We really have to see this, at least at a conceptual or theoretical level first before the practical discovery rolls out. We have to see how post-modern physics feels more right than modern physics about the nature of the second fundamental wave in the universe after light.
Modern physics or general relativity presents gravitational waves as something that is different from light in that the former is topological while the latter is non-mechanical, but this is contrary to nature and to post-modern physics.
Nature gives us two fundamental waves in the universe, the electromagnetic wave and the gravi-electromagnetic wave, and both are non-mechanical in nature.
Now, what do we hope to achieve with gravitational waves? I tell you nothing. Not just because the wave is topological but because it does not exist in the universe.
I believe that the so-called discovery of gravitational waves is one of the proofs that shows us how theory tells us what to search for and how to look at the universe. So, the discovery of gravitational waves could mean nothing if the theory is wrong. And this is just the case.
We have to know that in post-modern physics we are moving from an understanding of one non-mechanical wave, that’s light, to the understanding of another non-mechanical wave, which is the gravi-electromagnetic wave.
I must applaud general relativity for being one of the first field theory of gravity, but it is wrong about gravity as it presents it as a topological wave known as the gravitational wave instead of presenting it as a component of a non-mechanical wave known as the gravi-electromagnetic wave.
The latter is the central position about the nature of gravity in gravi-electrodynamics, which is the true field theory of gravity.
So, considering how we have been able to explore and practically harness the electromagnetic wave, we are certain to also explore and practically harness the gravi-electromagnetic wave in like manner. This is one of the major reasons why gravi-electromagnetic waves are better replacements of gravitational waves.
The results of the practical utilization of gravi-electromagnetic waves are immense, and I believe that just as the practical utilization of the electromagnetic wave followed after its theoretical discovery, so will the practical utilization of the gravi-electromagnetic wave follow after its theoretical discovery in this post-modern era of physics.
For now, we must not undermine the theoretical discovery of gravi-electromagnetic waves which has occurred in post-modern physics and upon which this article stands to contend against the reported practical discovery of gravitational waves. And we are more hopeful to think of another non-mechanical wave in the universe than to think of any topological wave.
Furthermore, it is by the new study of the gravi-electromagnetic wave that we begin to really understand certain mysteries of gravity which even Newton could not explain.
Certain mysteries like why is gravity invisible, why does gravity act instantaneously, why we don’t feel free fall, quantum entanglement, dark energy etc. are all explained by the proposal of the gravi-electromagnetic wave; they are all indications of the existence of another non-mechanical wave in the universe besides light. We really have to see this!
Also, we are introduced to the core principle of non-inertia which governs all accelerated frames and which its governing effects are transported by the gravi-electromagnetic wave. It is unlike gravitational waves that transport the effects of the strong equivalence principle which is the central principle of general relativity.
And to show you the precedence gravi-electrodynamics has over general relativity, in gravi-electrodynamics, the strong equivalence principle is not central but the universal equivalence principle, which is a step further, and which completes our understanding of both the weak and the strong equivalence principles.
So whereas the whole proposal of gravitational waves are brought under the strong equivalence principle which is not even the central principle of accelerated frames, the whole proposal for gravi-electromagnetic waves are brought under the principle of non-inertia which is the core principle of accelerated frames and which is assisted by the universal equivalence principle.
Thus, the proposal of the existence of gravi-electromagnetic waves comes with the realization of core principles in the universe that cannot be overlooked in any possible way and that cannot be associated with gravitational waves or their discovery.
It’s not just that post-modern physics confronts the discovery of gravitational waves but it does so with the assistance of absolutely fundamental principles which we did not know before when we discovered gravitational waves.
So, would we have discovered gravitational waves with the understanding of these principles? The simple answer is NO.
General relativity is a grossly incomplete and misleading theory of gravity. We have to abandon it for the better theory which has arrived. Now we know better, we see better and we hope for the possible practical utilization of gravity.
Many physicists and futurists have hoped for a time when we can practically harness gravity just like we can practically harness light. And so the discovery of gravitational waves felt like a huge step in this direction, but it isn’t.
We have to see how post-modern physics now makes this hope to practically harness gravity possible, though in an indirect way. This is as it shows us that what we can practically harness is the gravi-electromagnetic wave of which gravity is one of its two components. The other is light or the electromagnetic wave.
It is a great time for science and all of this would be made possible by post-modern physics and not modern physics.
Physicists have tried for the past 100 years to find a loophole into Einstein’s general theory of relativity and couldn’t. So, it comes as a surprise that another theory can show us what’s wrong with general relativity and even tell us why it has seemed so right all this while.
The latter possibility makes post-modern physics a better option to follow, especially with regards to its proposal of the existence of gravi-electromagnetic waves in the universe and not gravitational waves.
This wave is so central in gravi-electrodynamics which is the theory that actually predicts it. In gravi-electrodynamics, the gravi-electromagnetic wave takes the position as the underlying wave that carries all accelerating bodies whether those in natural or unnatural acceleration.
I know that what is left is for the practical discovery of gravi-electromagnetic wave to follow, but I want you to know that for now, it has brought us to the complete conceptual understanding of accelerated frames, and as soon as we can make a direct discovery of this wave, its world-wide practical utilization is bound to follow soon.
This article is therefore a rallying call to every physicist and scientist that is concerned about the truth to re-assess the discovery of gravitational waves with the light of post-modern physics, which is calling us to come together for the new purpose of discovering and practically utilizing the second non-mechanical wave in the universe.
