Why Physics Cannot Re-create the Unity of the Universe

It should disturb any physicist that is concerned about fundamental physics that we seek to re-create the unity of the universe. It is even a surprise that no other physicist has raised any objection as to why this is wrong.

But I want us to discuss this problematic situation in physics in this article and which is all the more important because of its relationship with the unity of physics.

Now, you may be wondering what I mean by the aim of physics to re-create the unity of the universe. I will explain this to you right away.

The Standard Model of physics which holds that there are four fundamental forces in the universe informs us at the early time of the universe, just shortly after the big bang, these four forces were united as one cosmic force.

So the Standard Model informs us that the four forces separated from this cosmic force as the universe cooled, and so, the Standard Model predicts that at energies above 1019 GeV the four forces should unite.

Now, this is one of the major motivations for building more powerful accelerators that would someday attain these energy levels and prove the Standard Model correct. And even the strong force is predicted to unify with the electroweak force at energies above 1015 GeV.

So, it is obvious that physics now associates the natural unity of the universe with energy levels. This is a wrong understanding of cosmic unity and it defeats the whole purpose of the pursuit for the theory of everything or for the unification of physics.

Also, the Standard Model takes the unity of the universe to be a thing of the past, when the universe was very hot just after the big bang.

This view is contrary to true science and philosophy. In fact, that the unity of physics is a thing of the past is a tragic thought that makes nothing of the whole of physics. And if it were true, I would have no business with it.

We must be careful about how we understand the sacred unity of the universe and no deeply philosophical physicist would accept the unity of the universe to be a thing of the past that we can replicate if we build accelerators with energies that are above 1019 GeV.

A Particle Accelerator

So the Standard Model does not only erroneously make the unity of the universe a thing of the past, it also makes it a thing of the future when we build more powerful accelerators or colliders.

And when we further criticize this view, we see that a whole lot is wrong with how we attempt to build our understanding of the unity of the universe on the results from the collision of particles.

And it is even this false and rising conceptual build-up of unity that has led to the final conclusion that at energies above 1019 GeV, the four forces of the Standard Model will unify.

The first successful attempt of the unification of the four forces which is the electroweak unification, that is, the unification of electromagnetism and the weak force was accepted as true only when the neutral Z particles and the charged W particles were verified experimentally in 1983 using high-energy proton-antiproton collisions at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN).

The association of the unity of the universe with energy levels characterizes modern physics, and as I have said before, this is why modern physics goes further beyond the electroweak unification to inform us that the strong force would unite with the electroweak force at energies above 1015 GeV.

And then it finally concludes that at energies above 1019 GeV, the whole four forces would unify and that’s including gravity. So modern physics assures us that at some time in the future when these energy levels are possible, we would see the unity of the universe. This in itself is wrong physics.

Modern physics is therefore informing us that the unity of the universe is not a current reality. That means, as we look into the universe, there is no unity in the universe today. I, myself, can never take this.

We must understand that the unity of the universe is eternal, ever persisting, and natural. The unity of the universe is not a thing of the past neither is it a thing of the future. And more importantly, it is in no way associated with specific energy levels as the Standard Model wants us to believe.

So, if we understand that the proposed unity of the universe from the Standard Model is unnatural and dependent on energy levels, then I will like you to understand that the unity of the universe from post-modern physics is natural and independent of energy levels.

Post-modern physics is letting us know that the unity of the universe exists at all energy levels and that it spans the whole lifetime of the cosmos.

That means, right now, as you look into the universe, you are in a sense looking at the unity of all things. In fact, we all are living in a unified universe. The whole cosmic forces are in eternal unification.

I don’t know if any physicist has thought about what the Standard Model of particle physics informs us about the unity of the universe like I do, but it is important that we realize that physics cannot re-create the unity of the universe which it supposes is a thing of the past; never.

The unity of the universe is not to be re-created; it is to be discovered. This is the right conceptual approach to unravel the unity of the universe.

The hierarchical arrangement of the unity of the forces based on energy levels is wrong and unnatural and it shows us one of the fundamental flaws in the Standard Model.

What physics requires is a theory that will unravel the natural and eternal unity of the universe at all energy levels and not a wild-goose-chase-theory for the unity of the universe at energies above 1019 GeV.

And it is very sad to think that if possibly it happens in the distant future that the energy capacities of our accelerators increases, we may prove the Standard Model and erroneously think that we have re-created the unity of the universe whereas the Standard Model is not only wrong about the unity of the universe, it is also wrong about the number of fundamental forces in the universe.

Star Clusters

But as post-modern physics shows us, there are only two fundamental forces in the universe and not four. In post-modern physics, the weak and the strong forces are discarded leaving only light and gravity as the fundamental forces in the universe.

This rightly makes the unification of physics easy and natural. And a good look at post-modern physics shows that it abolishes the concept of massless particles or mediatory particles from physics and which is the faulty ground upon which the Standard Model builds its own idea of the unity of the universe.

In post-modern physics, every interaction in the universe is mediated by pure non-mechanical waves and not massless particles or mediatory particles like the photon, gluons, bosons, etc.

This changes the way we seek to understand the unity of the universe and it gives us the right approach to how the universe works in a fundamental way.

The whole plan of the Standard Model to re-create the unity of the universe in our particle accelerators are doomed to fail, probably not because the experiments would not satisfy the theory, but because it would lead us nowhere to the truth.

And if in the future, an experiment satisfies the prediction of the unity of the four forces from the Standard Model, then physics would have dug itself into a deeper hole than it is today of which today’s crises are the results of some false successes along this path.

We must all come to see the eternal, natural unity of the universe. We must all come to see the unity of the universe at all energy levels and that involves only two fundamental forces, for this is what post-modern physics reveals.

Physics cannot and should not seek to re-create the unity of the universe. This alone should let us suspect that something is wrong with modern physics, especially its branch of quantum mechanics.

The unity of the universe is not something that will someday dance in our particle accelerators. Rather, it is an eternal, all-witnessed phenomenon everywhere in the universe. We all see the unity of the universe everywhere we turn or look. This is the position of post-modern physics.

So, this article is not just raising awareness of a fundamental flaw in modern physics, it is also informing us that post-modern physics has addressed the problem as I show you in some of my articles on this blog and more technically in my e-book.

The unity of the universe is not what we have to re-create or wait for; it is a discovery that is right here staring at us. We only need to open our eyes and see the unity of all things. This is not just about physics; this is the message of illumination.

The unity of the universe is always within the grasp of theory and experimentation, not like it is in the Standard Model with the wide gap between theory and experimentation.

In fact, the prediction of the unity of forces in the Standard Model presents to us the widest gap between theory and experimentation since the beginning of physics.

This is an abysmal situation that post-modern physics has come to salvage us from so that we can discover the natural unity of the universe and not proceed to re-create it, which is not only unnatural but false.

And this article informs us that the whole approach to the unity of the universe from the Standard Model is false, from the electroweak force to its proposed unification with the strong force and the final unification with gravity, they are all false.

Unity is natural and cannot be created, and until the end of all things, the unity of the universe will always be an ever-persisting reality waiting to be discovered and not a possible re-creation of physics.

Until next time,

I will be here.
